You'll find out when working on PDMS projects that the older guys know the syntax and the less experienced people will use the pull downs. Not to say anything is wrong with that. Most of the classes taken these days you will here them tell you to use the toolbars and pull downs. Now with the latest release of PDMS 11.6.sp2 you'll notice it is more user friendly. Alot of people now find the model editor easier to use. But there are still quiet a few things that are faster with syntax.
For me, I would say 60% toolbars and 40% syntax.
You have to use what is easier for you.
