CadWorx is a basic package that is popular with small fabricators. It runs on top of AutoCAD and can’t handle larger projects. I would say the maximum size project it could handle would be an average size 4 pile offshore platform, no matter what the salesman tells you. Basically a CadWorx model is individual AutoCAD drawings xrefed together, so Composite Material Reports and Weight Reports are difficult. Make sure the client doesn’t expect the same results as PDMS.
CadWorx Cons:

You will need to create Catalogs and Specs for CadWorx, when you already have these in PDMS
Training required
Finding experienced users will be difficult.
