I am using PDMS 12.1 in here and that PML work just fine.
I suggest you double check the step by step manual.

there are some differences at PDMS 12.1 ... some values are in units, so where PML expected pure number, gets number in units. I don´t use this app, so i can´t help exactly with this problem... just glue let you know where to start with solving problem.
