    P.Basker, hi
    thanks for your expanation.
But isn't the old method works by taking 1/2 length of flange1 boltref + 1/2 length of flange2 boltref + wafer + extra gasket. If that's true, so the bolt length should be dependent from flange thickness + wafer and gasket.

Yeap !!!! .. But only thing is that the Final lengths shall rounded off which was pre-defined in BLENGTH attribute.

hello pitch.. i just wanna ask about old bolting method.. what's the purpose of setting the bltref of bolt spco and flange spco? Which one is really used? I don't know how isodraft will select the right bolt spec for old bolting method..

    Tanx...

Old and new methods use both.
Bltref for flange may not be the same as Bltref for the valve.
You sometimes find that flange thickness for a valve is less than that for a flange.

But in new bolting method, setting the bltref for the piping component is not anymore used right? It only used the bltref of the bolt spco selected. Flange thickness will not be based on bltref but on blrfs right? I'm just confuse because since i started using the new bolting method..i never care about blrf setting in piping component spco.. i just set it in blrf of bolt spco...

    Tanx for your response pitch

As far as I know nothing has changed.
BLRF and BLTRF are the same thing. Isodraft uses the BLRF of the component.
It works out  which bolt speco it needs from the component BLRFs.
