    Hello all,

How do I attach a projection line to the BOP? I can get the Elevation by using #PLBOPU, but the projection line goes to the centerline of pipe. Thanks for any help.

    Have a Blessed Day!!

    Kuya John,

    Konbanwa.

I usually make LDIM and create dimensioning.

And use AFTER if the elbow is buttweld and 3DCURSOR>INTERSECTION BETWEEN if the elbow is screwed when dimensioning.

Then i put the ref on its DDNM.Add the PLTX '#PLBOPU". Browse again to LDIM,MODIFY DIMENSION DEFINTION>projection only ON OPTIONS.

I used this in making projection line on stachion support drawing.

    Well it works for me.

    Hope this will help.

Pogi, I think john is trying to DIM to the BOP, not just tag the BOP.  Is that right John.  does the guru's suggestion work?  I'm at home now, but I'll look at it tomorrow and see if that works.  We don't dim our drwgs, we use labels to give coords...

    does B&W dim piping drwgs?

ok.Maybe i misunderstood that projection line he said.

But DPBA(AFTER/BEFORE) will do. And 3DCURSOR>INTERSECTION BETWEEN will also do for socket weld and screwed.

    Thanks.

pipes don't have plines, that's structural members,

but the pkey command is helpful to those that don't know about it, thanks for the post!!!

Do you know how to set the henwei on a valve?

    Interesting conversation.

Anyone has found  a solution to attach a slab to the BOP?
something like "ON BOP OF ID@" ?

BOP. +#PLBOP(PU2:)(C2:6).#PLBOP(PU2:)(C7:) works fine to get the BOP value but the slab remain attached to the centerline.... :(

    Thanks for you help
