Is there a way to query which RRUL is in effect in draft?
Let's say i have a view with a PIPE in it.
The color of the pipe in draft is YELLOW
There are 3 RRULes that can be responsible for that.
Is there an easy way to find out?
Neild,
It should work for any Design element (well, I'm not sure about /*) but of course for high-level elements (SITEs, ZONEs, etc) there is the likelihood that there isn't a specified RRUL - in which case DRAFT would use it's default values. The command is only valid at VIEWs & RRSTs (ie elements from which a relevant RRST can be deduced). Obviously at a VIEW any owned RRULs are considered as well.
Can't get it to work....
I have a view highlighted but I'm stood on one of the design items in that view..and at the command line :-
q styf for =57347/12065
I want is to know the RRUL/S which is been applied...as I'm changing my representation rules/criteria...and it would extremely infomative to know which RRUL is been applied to which design element...
Neil,
The View has to be the current element - it sounds as if your CE is the Design element. To navigate click on the View in the DRAFT Explorer or do a right click in the 2d window & select the Goto>View option & click on anything (Design graphics or annotation) in the View.
Found this theme...very useful command, thanks MJT...
But I'd like to expand the question...How to know what kind of penstyle a design element is draw??? I mean every style (STYL) has several styles (Front, Obst, Cent...etc.), so degisn element is drawn currently by one of them. I know that element could be drawn for example by Front and by Obst...but how to know the line in EXACT spot of view and element???
Does anyone have any idea???
Thanks!
