Idf format

Hi everybody

In the company have asked me if  PDMS opens IDF File. The manual of PDMS talks about it, but is only one line and i do not understand.

what is the procedure to open this file if it can be opened?

Try with this:

In Isodraft, from the main menu bar select Utilities-->Process transfer file...

It's impossible, I'm afraid.

PDMS can produce IDF-files from Isodraft. They also known as Transfer-files.

PDMS Transfer Files have the same format as IDF files as Kubik said.
So if you try reading a PDMS Transfer File using Utilities-->Process transfer file... you shouldn't have problems.
But if you try reading an IDF coming from another application you could have problems.
This is due to the fact that IDF format could lightly change from one software package to another.
