A material header string carried on a uda is what we use at KBR. The MH of course is unambiguous in its layout. We use a 14 digit MH to carry the distinct informaion about the component. Certain fields within the string would carry info about component type, material, etc...
if we are having component(tee/elbow) size 4" or 6" spec-A150. spec is same for all schedules i want same component in different scheduldes like 10s/20s/40s/80s. how can we handle this case when we r modelling in design and extraction of isometrics.
YOUR SCOM/4"ELBOW WITH SYPE ARE 90DEG $ AND 45 DEG
NOW YOUR SCOM CAN BE USED IN UR SPCO LIKE
SPCO/A150/4"ELBOW90DEG AND SPCO/A150/4"ELBOW45DEG based in stype variation
NOW YOU CAN CREATE 2 UDA'S FOR YOUR SPCO AT SAME BORE BUT DIFERENT STYP
UR UDA WILL BE :SCHEDU|10S| FOR YOUR 4"ELBOW
SIMILARLY YOU CAN CREATE FOR 6"
UR UDA WILL BE :SCHEDU|40S|
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU
