EXPUNGE DB dbname USER usernumber
Expunges given user from given DB. This is allowed even if there are users
accessing the DB. It is the preferred way of freeing unreleased claims.
I need help..
I have tried the command above, but still im getting error. This is the command
EXPUNGE DB AREAD/AREAD /USERD 19.
It says "(2,113) List exhausted for USER /USERD "
I tried INTEGRITY CHECKING in ADMIN, this is the ERROR:
First of all, tell to all users to keep out of PDMS while you make this maintenance, after you confirm all users are out, then you Lock the project, don´t forget to savework after locking.
Then, use the expunge all command just to make sure there are no users stuck in the project, after that Expunge the Claimlist, select all db´s of your project and Expunge it all.
Hope it helps...
Thanks all for the reply..i'm aware of expunging all in admin.
But what im trying to do is just expunge, if possible, the users only using that database. Unfortunately, the command i used a while ago got an error..
Has anyone tried the command? Cause it takes only lesser time than the expunge all (though it is very effective).:thinking2:
In theory yes, but I have already used this command and it´s not effective than the expunge claimlist. You also con expunge the claimlist of only one DB if you want.
Just in case, the correct command is:
EXPUNGE DB DB NAME USER 'USER NAME'
I used a lot of this command to expunge a dead user....
The command is: expunge db "db name" user "NUMBER OF DEAD USER"
Its only necessary the number of the dead user........the name you dont need to put in the command....I dont remember.....I think a dead user doesnt have a name...only a number.....
You must know the db name, and the name of the user, and you must be in Admin Module
Ihh rapaz...eu esqueci que estava na parte em português...desculpem a todos...
Sim...é possivel colocar o nome do usuário tb...
O problema é que quando se trata de um dead user vc não tem o nome do usuário...somente o numero.....e mesmo se vc souber quem é o usuário que originou o dead user....vc não pode colocar o nome do mesmo no comando.....tem que ser o numero...
