I'm reaching out to the community for some assistance with an issue I've encountered while trying to connect Aveva Edge to a Schneider Electric M241 PLC. Despite my best efforts, every time I attempt to run the software, I'm met with an error message stating "RESULT_PLC_NOT_CONNECTED: Check your network connection." This is puzzling for a couple of reasons:
1. I can successfully go online with the PLC using Schneider's Machine Expert Logic Builder, indicating that the PLC is indeed connected and communicable over the network.
2. A ping to the PLC's IP address returns a normal response, further confirming that there isn't an obvious network connectivity issue.
Given these points, it seems like the connection problem might not be as straightforward as a simple network issue. I've double-checked the configuration settings in Aveva Edge, ensuring that they match the necessary parameters for the M241 PLC, but the problem persists.
I'm wondering if I'm missing a step or if there's something specific that needs to be considered when setting up this connection. Could it be a specific setting in Aveva Edge, a firmware compatibility issue, or perhaps something else entirely?
