InduSoft Web Studio can be used to automate all the various processes used in homes, businesses, shopping malls, solar arrays, anything really. InduSoft can be used as the front end or HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for the control systems for these various projects. Any kind of automation system, RTU, PLC, DCS that is controlling setpoints of an HVAC system, water operation, pumps, irrigation, lighting, security, etc., with the ability to talk to a PC through a serial or Ethernet port can be interfaced to InduSoft. There are over 200 drivers that allow connection to a wide array of equipment, along with a generic driver (TX/RX) that can be easily configured for devices using non-standard communications protocols.
