As you may have already observed there is no capability in InduSoft Web Studio to rename a project. However, since an InduSoft project is simply a bunch of Windows files stored in a Windows folder, you can simply rename the project folder and project file using Windows File Explorer.
Let's say that you created a project called Project stored in a folder called C:\Users\larry.combs\Documents\InduSoft Web Studio v7.1 Projects\Project and a project file stored in that same folder called Project.APP. In order to change the project name from Project to NewProject you would first rename the file called Project.APP to NewProject.APP. Next, you would rename the folder called C:\Users\larry.combs\Documents\InduSoft Web Studio v7.1 Projects\Project to C:\Users\larry.combs\Documents\InduSoft Web Studio v7.1\Projects\NewProject. Finally, you would open NewProject.APP in InduSoft Web Studio. Because InduSoft Web Studio remembers the last project that was opened, it might complain with an error similar to this,
Just click OK and InduSoft Web Studio will launch and you should be able to open your renamed project.
