Grid object not appearing on thin client

Hi,

I would like to revive the thread: http://www.indusoft.com/forums/Archives-Messages?topic=4264009108&Subject=Grid+Data+object+on+Thin+Client

It seems like I am facing similar issue with using a grid object on a thin client... I have tested grid object on both mdb database and txt file. None of them seem to be appearing on my thin client.

This is really frustrating. The thin client features seems to be either a hit or miss. Alarm, event objects does not automatically update itself. Alarm and event filter pop up are not appearing on the thin client. Using IIS to host html files has been a nightmare... There is no proper document on what feature is supported on the thin client.

And it also seem like nobody is attending to the support email.

  • Hi Greg,

Sorry for the confusion. Please ignore the trend chart and just look the pop up "Trend Pen" window of the screenshot. You will see that headers are there but data is not appearing on the grid on the thin client. What I require is to dynamically change trend tags during run-time on the thin client, hence I am using tred object to display the variables I would like my customer to choose to trend.

Appreciate your feedback on this. I will test my project on IE. However, some HTML 5 objects seem to be not supported, which might also be a no-go...

Regarding IIS, it seems to be teetering between working and not working. Sometimes changes made to custom widget will render a HTTP Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error. Sometimes Mobile Access is running but the browser is unable to login...the list goes on. After using igntiion scada for a bit the difference is just too significant
