CE Project not starting maybe Lic?

I have a CE device that will not start the project. The license I have is for 8.0 but I am running 8.1 It gives me an error for the license but says it will run in demo for 2 hours. When I OK that it loads a blank background with a load icon in the middle but never starts the project. From the engineering computer I can stop the RT and restart but I get the same thing. It never starts the project. I did a verify and re downloaded the project but I get the same. I am ordering another License but I think it should run in demo mode without it. Is there anything else I can try while I am waiting to get the license?

This is a new machine but I have done 5-6 of the same setup in the past without much problem.

PLC is Beckhoff TwinCat 2. ADS works with test program.
CE device is Bosch Mobile panel R911173736 running Windows Embedded Compact 7 Build 2864 ARM4Vi - CEView 8.1+SP5

Is ADS loaded on the CE device?

Can you download a dummy project (no drivers, etc.) and run it?

Yes ADS is loaded on the CE device and the test works.

I have not done a dummy project but that is a great idea. I will try that in the AM.

This morning I started off by trying to run the mobile project on the engineering computer. It would not start there either. So I thought I was on to something because it normally will run there. So I went to a back up that I know is good and had similar problems. My thought was maybe it was a script or something on that screen so I created a new screen with just one tag on it. It would start and run on both the eng computer and the CE panel However it was not getting the tag as it was only ???. So I went ahead and created a new project from scratch. With just one value on the screen it works fine on the eng computer however no coms on the CE panel.

This took me back to my ADS coms and I open it on the CE panel and the test works. So I think the only other thing is the TwinCat driver (dll) for the CE panel.

Did you add the route between the CE Device and TwinCAT?

Yes the route is good. The ADS coms test works between the panel and the PLC.

What driver version are you using?

Are you using Tag Integration or Driver Sheets?

What InduSoft CE version are you using? Processor/OS?
