I am having trouble using custom widget in one of my projects. I am using AVEVA Edge v20.0 SP3, under Windows 11. I have tried to add to my project either a blank widget (replacing the default content with a <span>Hello world</span>) and an example one (from the installation folder ‘CustomWidgetsLibrary’). In any case, the CW shows as a default content (HTML5 logo) and I see the message ‘Custom widget framework can not be loaded…’ I am testing in my developing machine (AVEVA Edge 4K licences, only engineering). I have installed the CW supplement inside the ‘redist’ folder, just in case. I have executed the DEMO project and the CW is also no display. I am running all the software under Administrative privileges. By the way, I have tested the same widget under Indusoft 8.5 SP3 and it works fine.
Anyone is having the issue and have managed to find a solution?
