Database Spy

This document describes using the local and remote Database Spy tool in both the development and runtime environments.

  • I am using this to monitor tags I am using in the project, found an issue where the data table in the PLC =0 yet the tag in this shows the value = 1 and the screen also reflects = 1 on the display object.

    Is this not updated all the time? Yes it is set to Continuous

    What could cause this not to update automatically?

  • Stan, is your tag set to Server or Local scope? You can view this property in the Tags Database>Datasheet View.
