Is spoolgen compatable with PDMS Isodraft files? Anybody experienced using Spoolgen with PDMS? If so what are the problems? What are the settings required to generate IDF files from Isodraft?
IDF format is produced by PDMS isodraft. Usually the spoolgen software is used by fab shop, downstream from engineering office, so I doubt any PDMS gurus here knows in detail how a particular fab shop's spoolgen works. I saw Matbin(a PDMS guru) posted a query on a problem with IDF/spoolgen with no answers yet.
On my previous project, we just provided IDF to fabricators and they handled them with some tweaking. So it has been done before but never without pain.
