I am trying to understand AVEVA products by referring to Product Catalogue.
I am little confused about AVEVA NET and AVEVA VNET.
Can some one elaborate if both are same?
If not, what is the difference?

    Thanks.

I believe the that they are the same (or maybe just a version difference). 'V' and 'Vantage' are being removed from product names.

    Thanks Tim...
What I observed is VNET in web-based whereas NET is non web-based.
Also looks like VNET in specifically for Plant whereas NET is for Marine.
Can you let me know your views?

    Regards
    AB

I think that is mainly version-related change of emphasis - but I am not involved with the products. Many AVEVA products that were either just Plant or just Marine are now being made to work to both, and the new bits get the most attention in the publicity - but as I say I am not aware of the details

At least PDMS is returning to its real name and no longer have Vantage in front of it :-)  Guess the marketing people must be busy using white-out to cover the V part on the old brochures now ;)
