what is first need, either pipe designer & engineer or pdms designer?

I want the answer.
Before approaching for the pdms you should be aware of many piping aspects & for that you must be good piper also, should know the piping better otherwise with only pdms learning will be in limit for you.
Am I right?

For piping or any other discipline you should have a knowledge of the discipline first.

PDMS will only teach PDMS
You need to look elsewhere to learn engineering
