I was asking this question to many people did not got correct answer.  

Belive there are Master Mind People in this FORUM to answer my Q?

How, who , where is MAP invented during the ancient days.  Say WORLD MAP or any geographical MAP.  What is the Techonolgy behind this.

Hmmm Thanks thanks for the replies .... But, What is the Technology used for this during the initial days.  When columbus discovered America.... Also We had MAPs in place already by ancient Egyptians, Chinese, Greeks and Indians as well.   But what kind of instruments or Tools they Used ? .... Imagine the Details or contours of the sea shore or river etc ;)
