Is any one having Idea about Aveva Marine (AVEVA Hull & Outfitting ) Product....? Is it also developed using PML 1 /2 , Is it having a facility of data import and export in datal format...? or any other programming is used...? Can anyone guide me...?
AVEVA Marine Outfitting is essentially PDMS with a different name, so all of the capabilities in PDMS can be found in Outfitting (PML, Datal, etc.). AVEVA Marine Hull is essentially Tribon, but it writes to the DABACON db so you have collaboration between hull and outfitting.
So, I can transfer data (like structures,equipments) from Aveva PDMS to AVEVA Hull & Outfitting ...............right...? iff the concern catalogues & Specifications are available.

When using Hull you should use Outfitting, not PDMS. The reason is PDMS can not read Hull elements and also in PDMS everything is N, E, U instead of X, Y, Z or Frame Number.
