Actually i have created an assembly..but say if i want to give distance in placing so how can i do it??  I have made one vent and i want to place at a certain distance from elbow on pipe. I m giving value in dist of taping element of parent branch. But it is not placing on that distance, it is placed on elbow end itself. So which kind of value we have to give in defining rule? just prompt me that.

    Hi ALL,

I also have the same problem with defining position rule.

I tried creating a drain assembly with olet on the main branch. I tried to set position on the olet to "DIST 200 from prev" as describe in the manual but it seems the rule is not working. The assembly was created when i picked a component or the tube but the distance rule doesn't work.

Is there anybody encounter this issue?

    Cheers
