I very rarely get annoyed, but I have just spent the last few mins going through page after page of AVEVA news posts. I know AVEVA now owns and operates PDMSWorld.com, but come on guys, this is a users forum. Therefore the people who come here use it for help, advise and to chew the fat, we are actual users of AVEVA products, not managers, therefore we do not care about your recent partnerships, deals, etc. etc.
Please please save this information for the audience that it is intended..... Managers...... and they are not here (or very few).
Remember what this forum was before AVEVA got it's hands on it...... it is not a sales forum so please do not make it one.
I find it funny that you are complaining about this, if you do not want to be updated then skip those sections and don't look. This site is free for users and you are complaining about something so small. Did you ever think that maybe some of the other thousands of users/admins may want to be totally informed on anything and everything that has to do with the software?
If you like staying in the dark then just skip those two sections. You shared your opinion and this is my opinion.
