Need help with using civil 3d contours in pdms. Im trying to see if it can be done to make contours

I would like to take auto cad civil 3d contour line work and insert it to pdms drawings to show ground elevations on site project work.

When you say pdms drawings you mean on Draft? Or you want to show them together with the 3D model?

You can´t do it natively in PDMS, but it's possible.

If you need only the contours showing with your 3D model, search the forum for Autocad to PDMS and you'll find some VBA macros that can read lines in a dwg file and then export them to PDMS as DRAWI objects.

I have come accross this problem two years ago.

Unfortunately PDMS is very week when it comes to ground work.

But still there are possblities to import yout counter lines from Civil 3D or AutoCAD to PDMS.

The solution I used in past was including two different codes one was by Autolisp to read data from Contours and then the other PML Macro was importing it to PDMS.
