Not sure if I understand correctly but are you aking if a project can be carried out using pdms from 'out of the box' I would say a certain amount, yes but it depends on your company specifications......
pdms gives you basic catalogues and not all fittings 9that can be used on site) will be available

Almost certainly not.
MAS catalogue is unlikely to have all the components you require, such as Instruments, valves, pcoms etc.

I agree with pitch. At some point you need create like backing sheet, company logos etc too.

Unless you'll edit them all in autocad to put the Backsheets there later. Same with ISOs, you'll create pipes without those INST,PCOM and edit the isos in autocad...just saying..but it is a tedious work.
