Aveva p&id

HI members,

Can some one expalin me about the AVEVA VPE P&ID in brief.
Have some doubts regarding that software like
1. Does it depend on anyother third party softwares.
2. How to interlink that P&ID to 3D.
3. Whats the difference between VPE P&ID,P&ID DESIGNER, WORKBENCH.
