AVEVA Announces ISEIT Americas 2006 Technology Conference for the Process, Power and Marine Industries

- Co-located with VIEWpoint Americas AVEVA User Group Meeting

AVEVA (LSE: AVV) will host its annual International Symposium for Engineering IT (ISEIT) conference for the Americas region October 23-24, 2006 at the Southshore Harbour Resort, Clear Lake, Texas. ISEIT takes an executive-level look at the business and technical challenges of building and maintaining engineering assets, with a program that combines keynote presentations, panel discussions led by industry experts, project case studies, and briefings on AVEVA's newest technology and future vision.

ISEIT Americas goes "Back to the Future" this year, as AVEVA celebrates its 30th anniversary of helping EPCs and Owner/Operators meet the challenges of the most rigorous engineering projects. How can past knowledge and experience be applied to solve today's problems, and tomorrow's challenges? Highlights of the program include a panel discussion on data interoperability led by Ric Jackson, Executive Director of FIATECH, and a second panel that examines the benefits and issues of utilizing 3D laser scanning on brownfield and retrofit projects, led by Tom Greaves of SPARPoint Research. The program will also feature business and technology briefings with AVEVA executives and customer case studies covering integrated Project Execution and Global Collaboration. ISEIT Americas 2006 will be co-located with the VIEWpoint Americas AVEVA User Group meeting, October 24-25, 2006 for a combined 4-day event. VIEWpoint Americas will pick up the afternoon of Day 2 of ISEIT with a technical program that encourages users of AVEVA solutions to share valuable business ideas, experiences and productivity tips. VIEWpoint will also be hosting presentations and workshops that discuss how to work smarter, not harder, in today's competitive environment. • I spoke to a rep from Navisworks, I think he is going to try to get a booth/table there.  he is very excited about it.  His product is very impressive and I hope that he does show, because I think alot of users would like to see it.
• I tried like crazy to push NavisWorks last year because it was a super product.  I help a reseller here in Kansas City sell NavisWorks to PDMS Users do to my belief that it works great, very inexpensive and has a free viewer.  If anyone wants a DEMO go to http://www.s2solutions.biz/  or email me at dave@cadfusion.net and we can get you taken care of and help out in any way with phone support, email support, etc.
