A very sad thing has happened this past weekend. Famous wildlife expert Steve Irwin was killed when he was stabbed through the chest with the barbed tail of a stingray while filming a documentary in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.
I have been a huge Steve Irwin fan for many years and am very disheartened by this event. not just for him, but for his wife and small son. Please keep his family in your prayers as I'm sure this is a very difficult time for them.
I would like to ask each member to post a comment about this. Maybe a favorite moment from his show or guest appearance.
Mine is when he let a bunch of rattlesnakes loose on Jay Leno's stage, Jay was freaking out!!! It was great.

Its really been one of the most shocking news I have heard in last 1 year. The famous conservationist & Environmentalist, great zoo keeper, fine business man, happy family man, obidient son, caring husband, daring animal friend, multi faceted personality STEVE passed away.
