The ATTAs in MDS are driving me nuts, and setting up queries in Access seem to be a waste of time, if I can simplify it. All we need is a report like this!
Being a designer again probably pays more nowadays especially for rare-breed of Structural PDMS guys like you! Go get them!
Just change the xls extension to xml, you will get all the schemas and styles used in the report.
This after required modification as per your report requirement you can include in your PML report macro to get the XML output. Just rename it from xml to xls.
I been thinking about making it a user friendly form but no matter how much I try. Someone always wants the form to do more. Can you seperate the elements base on PAU (pre assemble units), can you seperate ship loose items, modular, list items only, ect, ect, ect.
Can you give me the steel without this or with that... Can't make people happy.... Also, I create this from on my own time but when a company finds out that I can do reports like this, they try to claim it as the companies. Well, I do the reports because it makes life easier for me. Not for the company.
