As far as I understand from your question, you are taking a dblist of cats and specs from one of your project and have added it in other project. I assume you have checked all the references are correct on adding this dblist in the new project. But I am not sure how the piping will appear in design if you have not created any pipe in design using the spec. if you want the piping from the first project in this new one then you may need to dblist and add it. I assume replicating the project will be good choice if you are starting from scratch or create a new database in the new project and just reconfig the data from the original project in this new project.
