We couldn't find any attribute for shape name as well.
We decided to add a UDA for all elements and fill shape name in it at the beginning of the project, when Admin is defining the shapes in different Stencils.
Also if you are familiar coding in C# or VB .Net, it is possible to get shape names by opening Visio Files and extracting all Visio shape data like shape name.
