TEMPLATE INPUT FOR AVEVA DIAGRAM VER SION 14

I am unbale to import AutoCAD file for Aveva diagrams template . can anyone let me know which version of AutoCAD  is permissible with Aveva diagrams . what steps are required for creating a template file using AutoCAD . It would be of great help if someone could guide me about the same

    Your cad file version must be AUTOCAD 2007 or before 2007.

    First, Prepare your Template in CAD.

    Then, Open your Diagram and from Insert tab, select Cad Drawing...
    Then you may need to adjust scale of the drawing, and convert shapes by right click on imported drawing and selecting Cad Convert.

    You may want to draw/Edit your template in Diagram.
