CREATING SCAREF FOR ALARMS

Hi

You need to define an Area shape, which should be a 2D symbol and add it on required instruments (or other elements).

Refer to Project>Options>Diagram Options>Attribute Presentation>Area shape and unselect "Read Only" for Attributes/UDAs you want.

it is appearing as read only so a uda needs to be designated for scaref created ; i tried changing  in diagramssetup.xml including the atrributes still the error persists read only did not go i wa strying for HH H L LL YET  it was not letting me remove read only from scaref

i have included this in diagram setup xml file yet that read only is not going and nor ALARAM SETTINGS are coming for scoins

I can think about below points:

1- Make sure AVEVA Diagrams reading .xml file from a correct address, you can see the loaded file message when AVEVA Diagram opens, in Messages, User Tab.

2-Change Read Only checkbox within "Edit Master Shape Wizard" too and save.

3-What is your AVEVA Diagrams version? You may need to install a new fix.
