using desc attribute in instrumnet shape can we call smart label

suppose i create a dcs symbol and pass HH H L LL SYMBOL IN ATTRIBUTE OF DESC can we fetch the same using smart label with HH H L LL . I Have tried updating in my diagramssetup.  xml file yet when i am trying to fetch the data i am unable to do so using scaref attribute in edit master form as well

    For showing Alarms, We define 4 different UDAs and add 4 prompt in:

    Project>Options>Diagram Options>Attribute Presentation>Offline instrument > Prompt column. When you insert the DCS symbol on Diagram, it would ask for 4 alarms.

    I remember we had prompt issue in old version of AVEVA Diagrams.

    What is the version of your AVEVA Diagrams? You may need to install new fixes of the software.
