Counter for lists

 

Сan you clarify for which type of report you need this info, for Standard report/Report designer/custom PML report/search utility ?

No me_hungry. It is not about reports. It is about grids or data sheets in aveva engineering tag system

that totally makes no sense for the grid.

thats something for if you want to do reports out of the grid.


if you need a counter make a uda and let it count :-)

if you want to even do it automatically then create a uda event for it that it always creates the next number for every records.

but like i already mentioned. the grid is in my opinion the wrong place for that
