How to create macros in aveva instrumentation?

Hi all, I am working as a admin in AVEVA Instrumentation, I just want to know is it possible to write macros or applications for aveva instrumentation to do repeated tasks automatically?

You can use sql scripts for some routine tasks :black_eyed:

Aveva Instrumentation is not a dabacon according to me.

PML There is no chance to write macros.

Aveva Instrumentation is SQL database program, that has SQL language for accessing and manipulating databases data similar to PML in PDMS.
You can use SQL Server Profiler to Trace what happens, while you are running something from interface.

@me_hungry Could you please share some snippets or any kind of manuals ? And is there any forum available to ask doubts for aveva instrumentation related stuffs ?
