  • [QUOTE=de_ding;28914]Ravishe,

Are you a new grad from university?  You seem to be interested in a very broad spectrum of design software from 3D design to 2D P&ID.

Have you ever been on a real project yet?  The reason I am posting this is not  try to insult your intelligence, but rather set up a parameter of discussion.  There are "in theory" answers and "in practice" answers, and if you disclose your background, it will be a lot easier for other experienced users here to answer your queries.

PS. after in are in the business long enough, you will learn to not take software company's promises at face value.

    Yes Sir,
You are quite right, but I am experienced from process field (basicaly I am chemical engineer) & have now entered in piping field, & thats why I am new for this tool too. Yes I have no experience for any real project. I am doing my piping design & engg & have completed PDMS. As having process background I am also interested in P&ID. Although there are some other P&ID maker tool like MS visio but as I likes PDMS, I want to know the other supporting tools with PDMS. And as I found them I need to know them. Offcourse my queries will not be suitable or perspective or comprehensive in this forum but I need some time to go to that level, till then I request you to increase my knowledge if you know what I need to know.
Even then if you find it difficult I will manage to get that from somewhere else. But what I thought wehn I joined this forum that this is good platform for me to have gain my knowledge in this field with the help of PDMS.
I don't find any difficulty in doing my sample work only, particularly for my piping routing, becoz I have made it many times. As real projects have some new unknown challenging things involved, other may have the comprehensive queries regarding that, but how could I have. If this forum is only for professionals to share there knowledge, then I may be the wrong person here..Is that you mean. I thought Beginer was the section for freshers.
As a co-ordinator you decide what I need to do..or start section for any fresher.
    Thanks
