SQL Mass Data Update from PID Records and PID Drawings

Hello,

Here's my first question on the forum and it's a critical one for me.

Is it possible to update tag information in PID records and have those same tags be updated in PID drawings as well, instead of opening each PID drawing and updating each tag one by one?

I have a mass data update that needs to be done and I don't want to do double the work.

You can create a batch file in AVEVA P&ID that will open and change each drawing for you. You can add multiple command to the batchfile, you will need to find the command that suits your needs. For full explanation please refer to the  helpfile and look for Running a Command for a Batch of Drawings.  Here you will find the commands list as well.

After updating AVEVA PID Reports, I'd have to log into AVEVA P&ID (Drawings) and run the said batchfile? Do you have any other references?
