Dear all,
can you please tell me, how to query the SPMA-Attribute of an ELBO-Element in E3D?
My understanding is, that I can query with this attribute the maximum and minimum alowable angle of the spco.
Am I wrong?
Tank you in advance

Hello, if your Current Element (CE) is an ELBO element in the Model Explorer, try: Q SPMA OF SPREF
if I do so, I get the following message:
I see, I am not sure how did you get this error message..
Are you using the Command Window?
Sorry I don't have access to a computer with E3D right now so I cannot test it myself.
You may want to check this help page about querying attributes
https://docs.aveva.com/bundle/e3d-design/page/911889.html
Yes, I´m using the command window!
see:
Fun Fact: If I´m adding a question 'OF' in the header of the ELBO, I can query SPMA and SPRA, but both with the same result (Answer of the question)
I just want to understand, how the SPRA-Attribute is working.
Thank you
You can also check the values of these SPMA, SPRA and SPRB in the Attributes Window.
These are pseudo attributes so they are not displayed by default in the Attributes.
To show pseudo-attributes in the Attributes Window, right-click in the Column header in the Attributes window and enable "Display Pseudo Attributes"
Thank you, but either in the normal attrabutes, nor in the pseudo attributes are an attribute with the name SPMA, SPRA or SPRB:
In the screenshot, i´ve set the pseudo attributes to visible and sorted the attributes by name.
The SPMA pseudo attribute may be only visible when your Current Element is the Spref SPCO element in the Catalogue Explorer.
After checking in the Documentation site, I just found that SPMA needs a qualifier when being queried..
Can you try the following in the Command Window instead:
Q SPMA ANGL
Q SPMA ANGL OF SPREF
Tough one, but now I get it! ;)
Thank you very much.
Maybe, you can provide me with the link for the documentation?
