How Purpose(PURP) property is used in design?

Hi,

When Purpose(PURP) property is set on Zone is it restricted to model only those type of objects under that zone?

Example if Purpose(PURP) is set to HVAC while creating Zone so the specs listed to select belongs to HVAC or we can even use other discipline specs are also listed?

It is mentioned that routing rules are identified by (Purpose)PURP attribute. Can I assume if Zone purpose is set to HVAC no piping specs/related objects are allowed to place in that zone?

    No restrictions. Unless you have DAC (Data Access Control) rules ON for the project
