PDMS to Autopipe (.cii) does not show some components

 

Have you tried running an isometric of the pipe? Does that look OK? Have you checked the SKEY of the missing components?

Yes i tried, all of the isometrics look perfect with no missing data or an error.

And all SDTEs (and SKEYs) are defined for all valves, i've checked again. It seems OK too.

As far as I know .CII file is a sort of "neutral" file format (as dxf).
So if .CII works 100% ok with Caesar II (as expected), it could be that it is not fully compatible with Autopipe (as Bentley itself says)

I suggest you to contact Autopipe Support

Problem solved by adding missing valves in autopipe as we didn't want to waste time anymore.
Because it is obvious that the problem is about the campatibility.

Hello,

Best way to export data form PDMS to AutoPIPE is to create PCF files. Only what you have to do is to edit mapping file (in PDMS and AutoPIPE) to add missing components.

How do you create PCF files from PDMS?

You have to use macro from link below (it is for free):

Remember, there are lack of some elements that you have to complement on your own. Use "notepad" to verify and complement macro.

i am also using same file to convert pdms to pcf but the problem i face for insturment, strainer and some valve have you ever upgrade this pml because i am not good in pml can you please give some explanation on it for eg. I want to add some instrument or special valve in this pml how to add it.i tried to add skey of valve but not able to get accurate output.
