Exporting of Piping model for Stress analysis

Good day Seniors,

Please, How can I export a model from E3D 1.1 and 2.1 to CAESER II for the purpose of doing stress analysis on them?

I tried to make some research, but it looks like I will need a PCF macro which I currently do not have and I don't know how to create it either.

You need a license for "AVEVA Pipe Stress Interface" to do that. It is a separately licensed product so your account manager will be able to help you.

 

You need to have specific PSI UDAs and Catalogues/Specifications.
It is written in the Admin Guide, not the User one.
Macros can be found in ...\PDMS12.1.SP5\asso_products\psi\data

That's a compatibility issue.

You can use FEA Translator interface as a workaround.

Or you can edit convert_to_cii.bat that you can find in here:  ...Everything3D3.1\asso_products\psi\core

You need to set the Template variable so it is compatible with Caesar 2018 and beyond (i.e. set Template=%CoreLoc%\mmtemplate_2018.cii)
