Hi there, my first day and first post in this forum, so please forgive if i´ve not found a thread which answers my question.
I´m creating RVM files (for use with NavisWorks Simulate 2014) out of PDMS 12.1.SP2.25[8251] (( I know that more actual Service packs do exist, but our IT works slow :numbness: ))
I have managed now to get a translucent representation of all insulation in my RVM file: I set the representation for INSULATION and OBSTRUCTION to 99 percent translucency
My "problems":
When i only set INSULATION to 99% translucency, all TUBI elements stay SOLID in the RVM file ...
The INSU and OBST volumes are colored black - not according to the AUTOCOLOUR RULES - and they are translucent - that´s why I use 99%, so it´s possible to see (imagine) the Colors of e.g. piping below the insulation.
I´d prefer to get the (translucent) insulation (and obstruction) in "AUTOCOLOUR" also.
I tried the "EXPORT AUTOCOLOUR DISPLAYEXPORT ON" command, but it does not Change the representation of the RVM file to my wished result.
Can anybody give me a useful hint?
P.S. I do all exporting with PML, I don´t use ">Utilities >Export..."
Your Problems and possible solutions as follows
1. When i only set INSULATION to 99% translucency, all TUBI elements stay SOLID in the RVM file ...
Sol: Is it the same case when you change percentage of translucency to ant other val such as 50% if so, please check if you have set insulation spec to all of your components and branch level.

Sol: Have you set autocolour rule for Insulation and obstruction vol? If not please set it and see if you get desired output.
