Are you talking about AVEVA Review? If so, upgrade to the newest version because there is a lot of new fixes to open up GIGANTIC models.
We've got Quadro FX 580's and they are a real pain in the ***
If I have a Office program open in the background and I drop from, say, Paragon to Specon and back again the menu options don't display correctly (about 5% of the time) and the Command Line doesn't display anything if it is set to exactly 1 screens width, make it a bit wider and things are ok.
If you run a routine that streams a lot of data to the command line then after a few seconds it gives up trying to update and blanks the screen til processing is complete.
I've gone down the route of updating to the latest drivers with no real improvement and the issue exists with 11.6 SP5 and 12.
Could you tell me, are you using PDMS 12.1.1? Or some other version of PDMS?
Our internal company testing and use has shown that PDMS 12.1.1 has some kind of a bug, that it will not display changes in model when GET WORK is used - as you said, users have to exit and re-enter the program to see the changes correctly, GET WORK for some reason even gives some old state of model sometimes (probably something retrieved from session history, who knows...).
Indeed, GPU drivers can often cause only model display slowdown, but sometimes can cause black screen where model should be. But changes on the actual model should not be affected by display drivers.
we have 11.6 for some projects (with option phase projects and no need to change to 12 meanwhile) sended by customer for adding our gadgets into the factory area. Some are made with 12 .1.1.
normally we have hardcopy macro for producing dxf views for dropping it to acad layout drawing. but not in my projects, i guess our admin youngster has saving time while loading the project and it doesn't work accurately. maybe some db:s are missing?

it seems that the cladding panel begins to open from the surface of the beam, even though the origo point element doesn't rotate with. The difference of angles is something like in the message above.
In some gadgets the orientating has been made rotating list of elements, which are members of sube. the orientation of subequipment is not alike "Y is U and Z is W" but something else 45 degree for example. the gadgets are once created and subequipments later copied streched rotated again and again. from projects to another.
could it be possible that precision problems (more than 50mm) this kind of mess of orientation? [/INDENT]
the price of fx1800 is 2,5 times more than fx 1700 graphic card that is normally used in our company. how it truly differs from?
after short testing of 1700 there's some fading shadows of elements which i never face while working with 1800. i'm not admin so i suppose that 1800 is high fidelity or quality in screen. but is that something like driving a porsche in siberian bumpy roads while working hard with equipment moving copying streching primitives and subes, while rotating subes and primitives with different origin axis 8h/day? difference in graphic distance measurig between the sessions i have found always done on latter part of working day. is there some kind of buffer that could be full after certain number of commands?
