Nope, there is no such functionality in E3D either, sorry I wasn't clear. I think you should talk to your Aveva account manager or support office and let them know this is something that people need.
There is also no functionality to add a 3D view to the isometric. Some people write their own PML to create a plot file of the pipe using Draw, but that is something you will have to do yourself.
