In E3D (MDS), While copy support from one support to new support there are no options to pick any civil or equipment member (Align East/North/Elevation) or no any ppoint available in copy options. Aveva do something for improvement in support placement.
You can copy a support by a certain distance ( you can measure the distance you like before copying ) from the original one.
Then you can align the copy to the gensec you like just using the Modify Support form.
If you want a command that does everything in one go, you need to ask your local Aveva Office for a Product Enhancement
