Converting dwg to pdms txt

Hi guys

i have one .stp file which has been converted in dwg file , is there any way or tool in e3d which converts the dwg file into pdms .txt file for importing

i can directly import the step file into pdms but my designers want it's reference for modelling ,every time they are adding the file in graphic view it's hanging while working

please guide fellow members

Sorry. This is E3D :) Step file is text file, but if you are expecting to receive  PDMS primitives or similar...no chance.
