I place atta's with forms/macros that will allow users to set spkbrk to true or false, place comment atta's, insulation atta's (for personel protection).
So, I do it through the use of PML.
Just curious......why do you always want them set to true?
Naa dont want them to be true always.....but was thinking it might be easy to set the default than to write a PMl thingee.....if u dont mind...can u plz guide how to set the form for Atta's ??
NEW ATTA SHOP TRUE SEL WI STYP |TXT|
--use the above to select the atta (STYP |TXT| is the way I have the STYP set for this particular atta)
SPKBRK TRUE
--then in the next line of the macro set the spec break
i did try to control SPKBRK from the spec but for some reason it doesnot set the SPKBRK to TRUE when i put attas in design....please see my spec header for attas as below.....wats wrong?

I used ATTA to indicate hangers and supports on pipelines. I didn't use the SPKBRK attribute, leaving it as default. I set the STEXT attribute, giving the type of H&S. How did you use ATTA? What is SPKBRK for?
was told by the guru that only certain attributes can be set from the spec and unfortunately SPKBRK cannot!!....
Coming back to the original issue....i need help to set the SPKBRK of ALL Attas to be set as TRUE at the time of creation.....does anyone know where can we control the default attribute settings for components ?...am sure there wud be sumwhere where u set the SPKBRK attribute to be set as false for all new attas....
