How to Run a PML function after Switch to SUPPORTS discipline from another discipline

Unfortunately, I cannot modify/customize !!mdsMakeDfltSite() or !!mdsMoveToZone() as this is controlled and already modified by our inter-company 3D team. This is where they customized the location of mdstemplatechoice to be in the shared location.

So I am looking for something that does not modify the existing pml functions. 

We also use these files in shared location but we don't use any extremal template file within this function. we had a logic with zone naming to match with PIPE and Support zone. so even if multiple users use the same function at time file is not override.

I see. Thank you for sharing your code, but the automatic setting of the support zone based on connected piping is not really applicable to our situation in our projects.
!!mdsMakeDfltSite() function is also part of the default E3D functions which I am restricted to modify.

ok, then can you pls explain more clearly which file you want to control. as far as i know, default storage for each person will change or its in his session memory. if always def storage is getting change based on template irrespective of the storage set by person then i think u need to change the way the function works.

Okay, so as per the title, I am looking for a way to automatically run a PML function on Discipline switch.
In a normal PML dropdown gadget, it is possible to add an open callback function: the callback function will run when the user selects another item in the dropdown. My goal is when the users switches Discipline to SUPPORTS, I want to run my own PML macro that keeps the selected support zone.
