    Hi All,

I was under the impression that E3D can work in conjuction with PDMS 12.1 but it is not backward compatible with previous versions of PDMS e.g. 12.0.

    Is this an incorrect impression?

From the information I read Everything 3D is solely compatible with PDMS 12.1 (not previous version like 12.0).

From what I read it is possible to use both E3D and 12.1.SP4 in the same project.
This is not possible with 12.1.SP2.

E3D uses 12.1 databases. You can work in a same project with PDMS 12.1.SP2, PDMS 12.1.SP4 and E3D. But it is of course recommended to work with a unique version.

The PADD databases (DRAFT / DRAW) are the exception: once they are opened with E3D, they cannot be reopened with PDMS 12.1.

Cause in E3D for draw Module had added the final designer where in PDMS the final designer is not added in draft module.

    Hi

We have customized the PRIMARY & SECONDARY (SECIONS) Supports in PDMS 12.1 sp4. Can we  place and modify these support in E3D?.
Or do we required to convert or upgrade. Could you please explain I this regard.

    Thanks
    Raj

It is better to Convert it to GENSEC.
As far as I know, SCTN cannot be modeled in E3D by default. Although SCTN is still available, you may need custom functions to use this in E3D environment or do it in command line.
